The Institution - if the word can rightly describe, the dream and the intention of evolving a pious, humble and righteous race of mankind was founded in July 1968, is run by the Francisian Sisters of St. Mary of the Angels(FSMA) which is a religious charitable institute which has several flourishing schools in the country. The highly reputed school of today had very lowly beginnings and was started in outhouses of the Maharaja of Dewas in 1968. At that time Dewas was an insignificant village and had not developed to its present status. The pioneers , Srs Bernadette and Rosalia used to courageously commute by bus from Ujjain, walking the remaining distance to the palace grounds with all their teaching paraphernalia. Mother Emmaneul, the Superior at Ujjain used to go to Dewas from time to time to encourage and supervise the work of two sisters.
Our KG students buzzed with activities on Monday 18th July, celebrating Green Day mainly to introduce the colour green to them and to encourage them to keep the environment green and clean. Sr. Prerna our Principal graced the occasion with her presence. They were all dressed in green and brought green vegetables and fruits. They too enjoyed the delicious green snacks during the lunch break which was prepared by their parents. Our young saplings also planted few saplings in the campus giving the message “Let me grow and I will give you shade.” More info and Photographs >>
